A heritage of family craftsmanship began decades ago…
Our story begins shortly after WWII, when Joseph Boyle (Seamus O'Baioghill in Gaelic) came to Australia for work.
He found a job painting with his brother Eddie, and soon overtook him in skill and dedication to providing the best work possible for each client. After moving to Melbourne, Joe established a reputation for high-quality work done quickly, always desiring to make the client extremely happy with his work.
Joe's eldest son, Gerard, eventually became his apprentice, learning everything Joe could teach him. Gerard added an extra layer of professionalism to the already high standards set by his father, gaining even more prestige as a Master Painter and Decorator, whilst adding minor renovations to his repertoire. Gerard set the bar for fast, quality painting with a smile and expert knowledge, growing increasingly as both a tradesman and a businessman. He moved from Melbourne to Korumburra in 2017, and his reputation followed him there.
Gerard's son, Nathanael, is now carrying on the Family Trade, bringing not only painting and decorating to clients but also carpentry and cabinet-making skill, having been trained as a shopfitter (commercial carpenter) previously. Nathanael is committed to providing each clientwith the highest quality work possible, carrying on the tradition and example laid out by his grandfather and father before him.
And our heritage lives on…
I, Nathanael, believe that family heritage is incredibly important, and am honoured to be following in my father's footsteps, and his father’s before him. I pray that you find me to be a worthy successor to these two excellent tradesmen.
But most of all, I pray that you find me to be a worthy example of my Father in Heaven.
